A Yugoslav tourist charter jetliner with 174 aboard crashed on approach to Ajaccio airport in dense fog and winds. Police say 168 passengers and six crew died. most victims burned or dismembered near Ajaccio on Corsica. Rescue teams fought weather to locate remains, about 1,500 feet from the wreck.
