C R Man Held On Two Charges
Clifford Fox, 63, of 723 C ave NW, held at St. Luke's hospital after Friday evening arrest on drunkenness and disturbance charges. He faced suspicion of molesting a woman on K avenue NW and was identified by the victim. His wife tried to post bond as officers struggled to awaken him in a drunk tank. Fox is a diabetic. Driver Injured In Truck Crash Near Sixteenth Ave Viaduct
Richard Doscher, 27, of Carthage Illinois, sustained two fractured vertebrae and back abrasions when his semi left the highway and veered into a ditch at the west end of the Sixteenth avenue viaduct. He was reported in fairly good condition at St Luke's Hospital. Police said the 9 30 a m crash involved no other vehicles. Doscher drives for Smith Truck Line of Carthage.
