Swine Awards Offered at Iowa Spring Market Hog Show
The 1400 dollar premium list for the second annual Iowa Spring Market Hog Show in Cedar Rapids on March 22 will be boosted by special championship prizes from swine breed associations if winners qualify for registry. J Morris Christy chairs the local committee. Awards include 50 dollars for grand champion barrow and 50 dollars for champion pen from the American Berkshire association, 50 dollars each for barrow and pen from the American Hampshire Swine Registry, and 25 dollars for champion barrow and 10 dollars for champion pen from the American Poland China Record association.

Arlington Man Buys Farm Near Volga City
Mrs. Libbie N. Tenney sold her 190 acre farm 242 miles south of Volga City to W. F. Adams of Arlington. Adams will take possession March 1. The farm is tenanted by J. F. O'Brien and family. Adams recently sold his Arlington farm for $10 000 to Lester Bachtell connected with Arlington Commission Company.

Amana Dairy Herds Post High Milk and Butterfat Figures
The Amana Society dairy herds, totaling 455 cows with 120 dry, averaged 29 pounds of milk and 22.7 pounds of butterfat per cow in November, per DHIA supervisor Curtis Jones. East Amana led with 30.2 pounds of fat, South Amana next with 28.9. Sixty seven 305 day lactation reported.
