Brazilian Senate Dashes Japanese Utopia Plan in Amazonas
In a secret session the Brazilian senate annuls Tsukasa Uetsuka’s land grant of 2,410,000 acres in Amazonas aimed to settle 10,000 Japanese farming families. The plan featured railways telegraphs power plants and factories with settlers to become Brazilian citizens under a 50 year title. The court appeal remains as his last recourse.
