Boy Among 14 People Sworn In as Citizens

In Cedar Rapids a 6 year old boy Dennis Clift was naturalized in federal court joined by 14 others from six countries. Judge Edwin R. Hicklin presided as the group included citizens from Czechoslovakia Russia Denmark Switzerland Yugoslavia Greece and more. Clift adopted in Germany, his parents spoke of his progress and excitement for an ice cream treat after taking oaths with two Boy Scouts distributing flags.
