City manager calls himself a bit player on team
Cedar Rapids welcomed Jim Prosser as the city’s first city manager. He was selected from four finalists after 40 applications and started last Monday at a $165,000 salary. He said he is one part of a team, with council member Chuck Swore saying, We got the right guy, and plans to prioritize issues after getting acquainted with local matters.
