Funeral services for Mrs. George Zmolek held near Toledo
Funeral services for Agnes Kubik Zmolek were conducted at St. Vaclav church near Clutier by Rev. Thomas Vopatek. Born April 3 1897 to Anton and the late Agnes Kubik she married George Zmolek on November 21 1914 and lived on a farm north of Toledo. She leaves seven children, her mother, one brother Fred Kubik and four sisters Mrs Rudolph Seceik Mrs Earl Le Fevre Mrs Emil Halupnik and Mrs Adolph Smolek. Burial is in Vaclav cemetery. Mr Smolek died last March.

Property tax levy reduced two mills in Iowa
The Iowa general property tax for 1936 and payable next year will be 3.08 mills, a decrease of .02 mill from 1935.
