Disturbance on First Avenue Bridge Leads to Arrests
Two people were arrested after a Tuesday morning disturbance on the First Avenue Bridge. Scott L. Welsh, 20, faced two counts of assault and harassment for spitting at and throwing beer bottles at Patricia Newman and her daughter Teresa. A 17-year-old girl faced third degree criminal mischief after breaking a car windshield with a baseball bat. EY NW turned self in on a separate warrant for drug delivery. Further incidents involve theft, burglary, and ongoing local housing and civic matters.

Craig S Stratton 22 of 2971 Sixth St SW was arrested at 6 45 p m Tuesday charged with delivery of a controlled substance. The arrest ties to a 10 month five county undercover drug trafficking investigation in Eastern Iowa. Stratton held at Linn County Jail on 5000 bond.

Two Arrested In Cedar Rapids Drug Probe
Cedar Rapids police arrested Jeffrey W. Stull and Ricky L. Clay on drug counts tied to an undercover operation. Stull, 19, of 1140 K Ave NW, held on 5000 bond after Monday night delivery of controlled substances. Stull and two others allegedly sold 20 LSD doses to an undercover officer on Feb 2. Clay, 23, of 248 12th St, was also detained in the case.
