Cedar Rapids population growth and moving trends noted

Cedar Rapids continues growing at a steady pace with a projected 110000 population this year, up from 86281 a decade ago. Through July, 1148 families moved in, compared with 1202 last year, with five year totals ranging from 1491 to 2968 and about 50 families relocating monthly from the city.
