Prairie Meadows president open to offers to sell track

Prairie Meadows President Carole Baumgarten said she would consider offers to buy Iowa's only pari mutuel track, but no buyers have emerged as the financially troubled facility posts large losses. Vehicular homicide case moved again to Hampton Iowa

Beau Appleton’s trial for vehicular homicide was delayed and shifted to Hampton in Franklin County after a defense motion for change of venue amid extensive media coverage.
