Two men report their car windshield was broken by two youths at Jerry's Back Room on 700 First Avenue West. Raymond Fritz and Timothy McLaud told police the youths swore at them, attacked, and kicked the windshield before fleeing in a car at about 7:50 p.m. Friday.
Rep. Morris Udall warned he would skip the 1976 bid if Alabama Governor George Wallace were the Democratic nominee. He said nominating Wallace would mean the party of McGovern and Kennedy has changed. Sen. Lloyd Bentsen likewise said Wallace is not worthy of the Democratic nomination.
