Cedar Rapids City Council approves multiple urban renewal contracts
The Cedar Rapids city council met in regular session with Mayor Donald Canney and all commissioners present. Resolutions passed unanimously cover park development contract No 215, Civic Center urban renewal amendments with Iowa R-13, loan notes, riverfront park, and Cedar Lake urban renewal. Also approved cigar permits, zoning changes, street improvements, stop signs, and public notices including hearings on various rezonings and development plans.
