Northwest Recreation Center opens final flood recovery site
The Northwest Recreation Center at 1340 11th St NW opens on Cedar Rapids' northwest side replacing the 2008 flood lost Time Check Recreation Center. A public open house runs 3 to 6 pm Thursday with full programming coming by mid September as city staff relocate from Ambroz Center.
