Four Children and Wife Slain by Fanatic in Indianapolis
In Indianapolis King Edward Bell 33 a religious fanatic killed his four children his estranged wife and his mother in law and critically wounded the wife's boyfriend. He was arrested leaving his mother in law's home with a shotgun and yelled kill me. Police say he left notes and chalk writings at the scene and expressed anger over troubles with his wife. The victims were found in a basement with the oldest boy showing a possible defensive wound.

A federal judge ordered Sedco Inc of Dallas to pay Roy Carver’s estate 13.2 million plus interest totaling over 17.2 million. Attorney David A. Elderkin said the verdict may be the largest in Iowa, with daily interest accruing at 3618.10 dollars. The ruling stems from Sedco’s 1977 countersuit over a failed Mideast oil venture in Qatar.
