MFL Community School District raises funds for eight new computers
The Friends of Computers group led a door to door canvass across the district to raise nearly 12 000 dollars for eight Franklin computers eight disk drives three printers and two double disk drives The drive involved 180 households and local businesses and the money will fund a new computer lab at Monona with seven more units at the high school in Luana and classrooms district wide.

University of Iowa offers six telebridge courses statewide
The UI plans six telebridge courses for fall enabling credit study without traveling. Courses include death and dying taught by Prof. Belgum, legal aspects of school personnel, classroom management for elementary teachers, reading instruction approaches, autism I with a second section on communication and speech, and nurse manager financial management. Each course costs 53 dollars per credit hour and enrollments must reach seven per site.
