New Cancer Treatment Patented By Dr. Gordon
Dr. Robert Gordon of Skokie Illinois receives Patent 4 106 488 for a method to destroy cancer cells with externally generated electromagnetic heat. Magnetic particles delivered intravenously heat to 8 9 degrees Celsius to kill cancer cells with no damage to normal tissue. A variant uses tumor specific antibodies or radioisotopes to release particles inside cancer cells. Dr Gordon notes potential for metastasized cancers and says animal tests are successful with no damage to normal cells. The 28 year old surgeon previously was recognized as the youngest in the AMA list. Thought for today is Karl Marx’s remark on private property.
