C and H Sugar Agrees to End Misleading Advertising
The FTC announced a settlement with C and H Sugar Co. and its ad agency Foote, Cone and Belding Honig to stop claims that sugar from Hawaii is superior or that beet sugar is inferior. The order bans unsubstantiated differences and origins claims unless clearly substantiated and relevant to consumers.
