Staples to close Cedar Rapids store amid shifts to online sales
Staples will shut its 2007 opened 20000 square foot Cedar Rapids store at 4601 First Ave SE on Sept 10 as part of a plan to close about 50 North American locations this year. The retailer cites customers moving online and ongoing store-rightsizing while retaining Corridor locations in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
