He must avoid firearms, work or attend school, continue substance treatment, and pay penalties. No injuries occurred when a 20 gauge shotgun was fired from his home in December.
Raymond E. Parrish 42 of Iowa City was sentenced to 180 days in Johnson County Jail after pleading guilty to assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. He must register as a sex offender for 10 years and faces extended probation, with potential prison terms for violations. Parrish, former Nemesis Tattoo owner, assaulted two women at a downtown tattoo shop in November, with DNA linking him to the crime.
