NEW HAMPTON Iowa a Belle Plaine family traveling to host races in Wisconsin were involved in an accident south of New Hampton on Highway 3 Saturday. Allen Fedder slipped asleep at the wheel, the pickup camper rig went into a ditch and the camper detached. Medderser’s wife Ruth 30 and son Allen Jr 6 were asleep in the camper and in fairly good condition at New Hampton hospital. Fedderser was uninjured. Damages to the show truck and camper totaled about 6000 dollars.
