Pentagon to Repeat Test of Missile Defense System
The Pentagon will replay the July 14 interception test of the ground based interceptor rather than increase complexity to include multiple decoys. Air Force Lt. Gen. Ronald Kadish said reliability remains in question and October’s test will be a same conditions replay, underscoring cautious progress on the missile shield amid political pressure and high costs.
