Texas judge sets execution date for convicted child killer McGinn
In Brownwood Texas District Judge Stephen Ellis set an execution date for Ricky Nolen McGinn after DNA tests pointed to him as the source of evidence from the 1993 rape and murder of his 12 year old step daughter Stephanie Flanary. McGinn maintains innocence though DNA linked him to the assault and death. Governor Bush granted a 30 day reprieve before.
