Millersburg Road Project Approved Near Millersburg to North English
MARENGO The Iowa county board of supervisors voted Tuesday to start paving the stretch south from Millersburg toward North English and to seek bids from the Iowa highway commission. The cost is about 169 055 and the road connects Millersburg to a paved corn highway 3.2 miles south. Delegations from Millersburg pressed for near-term paving, noting the road has been graded and must be paved or regraded. Earlier the Johnson county line project crossed a quarter mile of dirt road with mutual funding by the two counties. John Reid and Donald Crow received 400 each for cross-border work.
