Iowa Court orders county to cover SUV storage costs
Des Moines reports the Iowa Court of Appeals ruled Dallas County must pay 4000 in storage and towing charges after a SUV seized in a meth lab case was returned by a judge. The decision reversed a district ruling making James Sanger liable and held the vehicle should be returned unencumbered by government liens. In a separate Dubuque County case, the court allowed a bad faith workers’ comp action against an uninsured employer.
