A Connecticut firm, Trilegiant, must pay 300000 to Iowa and refund consumers for violating a Buying Club Memberships Law agreement. The consent judgment in Polk County requires identifying and refunding all affected Iowans, following prior refunds of about 171000 to 2500 individuals. Gas and energy prices in Iowa rose slightly with diesel down and natural gas near 2.75 per million BTU.
