Explosion at Conroy grain mill injures workers and damages facility
A grain bin explosion at Gateway Cooperative in Conroy severely injures Mike Dellamuth and others while shaking nearby homes. Fire crews from multiple towns battled flames as grain meal stored at the mill, housing 60 to 80 tons of product, burned. No layoffs are planned as Pruess shifts some manufacturing to Malcom. about 20 workers were employed at Conroy.
