Funeral Aug 13 at St Boniface Church New Vienna. Burial in St Josephs Cemetery Farley. He farmed the rural New Vienna area and was a Realtor with Bradley Realty and with Ruhl and Ruhl Realty. He is survived by wife Theresa and five children and three sisters and brothers. A memorial fund has been established.

Merle Howard Teed aged 75 of 46 Vinton Street Palo died at St Luke's Hospital Cedar Rapids after a long illness. Services set for Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church Cedar Rapids with burial in Palo Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2 to 6 p m at Teahen Funeral Home and at church Monday after 9 a m. He was born February 10 1936 in Clayton County to Elmer and Henrietta Teed. He married Elizabeth Hartl on November 2 1958. Survivors include wife Betty two sons David La Marque Texas and Dan Robins three grandchildren Tabitha Michael MaDill Kelsey Teed Katherine Teed one great granddaughter Evelyn MaDill a sister Marilyn Carolan a brother Roger Teed and nieces and nephews. Preceded by parents two brothers Jim and John and sisters Hilda Gilson and two infants. He enjoyed Bluegrass music. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran or Camp Courageous.
