Springville library gains user friendly new building

The Springville Memorial Library is moving into a larger, more accessible building with a wireless network, six public computers, and a computerized checkout system. Landscaping is by Koppenhaver’s great-granddaughter Courtney Andrews. Trees Forever provided trees. Funding totals about 1.1 million dollars from community drives, the Hall Perrine Foundation, city and county support, and private donors. Community room naming honors Ernie Buresh and Security State Bank’s Clair Lensing, with ongoing broad local support and a promise to open 18 extra hours weekly, though Sundays remain closed.
