Hippies feed Cedar Rapids volunteers with homemade meals
Three self described hippies from American Rainbow Tribe set up an outdoor kitchen near the Salem United Methodist Youth Center to feed volunteers. They serve lunch seven days a week and aim to feed 2000 daily as showers are installed. They travel in a converted bus, travel the country for disaster recovery, and say food is their form of entertainment.
