Iowa City man faces new charge in dog injury case
Lu cas S. Van Orden V, 22, was charged with animal abuse after an initial animal neglect case was dismissed. The dog suffered multiple rib fractures and lung bruising while under his care at Creature Comfort Veterinary Center during grooming on July 9. Van Orden admitted to kicking the dog. he was fired and must enter a plea by August 25.
