Judge halts sales in Muscatine County murder case
A Muscatine County judge issued a temporary injunction preventing stockton farmer David Hering from selling livestock land or farm machinery without court permission. Hering, 42, is charged with first degree murder in his wife Lisa Hering's death at their Wilton area farm after a three hour standoff. bail is set at 1 million dollars. Lisa Hering's funeral is planned for Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Wilton.
