Schwarzenegger hires seasoned team for recall bid
Arnold Schwarzenegger hires Pete Wilson era aides led by George Gorton to run his campaign less than two months before the October 7 recall election against Gov. Gray Davis. Wilson joins as co chair with longtime staffers and pollster Dick Dresner advising. The team brings experience from Yeltsin campaigns and California races, while critics call him a political lightweight.
