Iowa appeals court upholds closing of Cricket Hollow zoo
The Iowa Court of Appeals ruled the 2019 order closing Cricket Hollow Zoo in Manchester was proper. Judges found no basis to grant a new trial despite defense claims the trial judge showed bias during a site visit. The case arose from a nuisance finding after about 100 animals faced alleged neglect under owners Pamela and Thomas Sellner.
