Terex Cedarapids will end manufacturing at its northeast Cedar Rapids facility in mid-2010 eliminating about 170 jobs. Engineering, sales and service remain in Cedar Rapids while production moves to other Terex factories due to a drop in construction equipment orders amid a global recession.

Record enrollment at University of Iowa may hit new highs
