Two Hurt in Crash Near Conesville
Two people were injured early Saturday when two cars collided on highway 76 about two miles south of Conesville. Seven youths rode in the cars. one vehicle struck the rear of the other as it slowed for a turn. Gordon Wolford, 18, Casper, Wyo., had severe throat and forehead lacerations needing 15 stitches. Thomas Colton, 17, Columbus Junction, suffered a sprained arm and wrist. The second car’s driver was William Chelf, 17, Columbus Junction. All other occupants were uninjured.
