Cedar Rapids teen charged as adult in shooting
A 16 year old, Christopher Cortez Hoover of Cedar Rapids, is charged in adult court with intimidation with a dangerous weapon and going armed with intent, plus being a minor armed with a dangerous weapon after a shooting that injured a 13 year old. Surveillance shows seven to eight rounds fired toward a group near Hoover's residence on A Avenue NE. He was arrested on scene and held on a $25,000 bond after a Monday appearance.
