Gladys Gaffney 77 of Independence and her daughter Frances Ann Tuberty 50 of Mount Vernon died in a boating accident on the Wapsipinicon River near Independence. Gladys born March 1, 1902 in Waterloo, married twice, survived by two children, six grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. Souvenir grenades spark caution at Radnor Township
