Iowa tax receipts swing from June to July

Iowa tax collections swung from a strong rebound in July 2020 to a sharp drop in the most recent month as delays in filing and calendar shifts affected receipts. The Legislative Services Agency reported July totals at 623.7 million, with personal income taxes down 50.7 percent and corporate income taxes down 92.7 percent, while sales taxes rose 22 percent.
