Beckman falls short of a three-peat in 2A baseball final
North Polk pitcher Cole Jackson threw a four-hitter to deny Beckman a third consecutive 2A title, 2-0, at Principal Park. Beckman starter Conner Klostermann pitched a complete game seven-hitter as the Blazers pressed late but could not overcome early miscues and left runners at third. Beckman coach Tom Jenk Jr. earned his 1,000th win in the season but could not seal another championship.
