Cedar Rapids listed as a musty boring city by humor group
Cedar Rapids appears on a top ten list of boring cities created by Boredom Anonymous at a Manhattan convention during National Avoid Boredom Week. George Q. Lewis of Elberon New Jersey revealed 200 members submitted the list noting Cedar Rapids joins Topeka Kansas City Kan Cleveland and Omaha among others. He urged Cedar Rapids Mayor Donald Canney to share anti boredom plans. The piece also cites live entertainment options including LAID BACK acts at local spots and performances by Dan Strattman at Boars Head Lounge and Frank Osmanski at Fox and Hounds Lounge this weekend.
