Ilene Warner and Raymond Davis Wed in Presbyterian Church

Ilene Margaret Warner and RaymondDwite Davis exchanged vows Sunday at 4:30 pm in First Presbyterian church. The ceremony was led by Dr. Theodore G. Lilley with organist Eleanor Taylor and vocalist Robert G. Davis. The bride wore a lace and tulle gown with a mantilla veil and carried white lilies, as family and guests gathered at the Roosevelt hotel for a reception. The couple plan to live on a farm near Stuart after a trip, with the bride a former William Woods and Coe College graduate who has taught in Tucson.

Next WAVES Convention Set for San Francisco

More than 500 Waves head home from their eleventh annual reunion in Denver after voting to hold the 1954 convention in San Francisco. They also voted to establish a national WAVES organization to foster women in the Navy support civil defense and provide fellowship meetings for all WAVES.
