Century-Old Teacher Remembers Life and Students
Mildred Bennington, 101, recalls classmates and her early teaching days from a one-room country school to Fayette Iowa. She notes River Lindbergh and the 1920s voting, 1930s Depression, and her 70th wedding anniversary with Glen. Now in assisted living, she still shares memories with clarity.
