Volunteers: Couple dedicate years at St Luke's in many roles

In 1983 a bored homemaker joined St Luke's to help, sparking a decades long volunteer partnership for Eugene and Edna. They served across MRI transport, AV, library, business office and physician billing while knitting caps and crafting baby pompons. They kept a regular Monday Friday rhythm, stayed late when needed, and valued the social reward of helping the hospital. Their story notes a son, daughter in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren plus a grandson returning from service aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.
