North Liberty approves aquatic facility project bid
The North Liberty City Council accepted a 5.79 million dollar bid from McComas Lacina Construction to add an aquatic facility to the Recreation Center. Groundbreaking is slated for mid May 2003 with completion targeted for May 15, 2004 for pools and 60 days later for gym and conference areas. SWP Architects of West Des Moines designed the project.

Iowa Trials In Illinois Permitted Under New Law
Congress allows Iowa federal trials to be heard in Illinois starting May 1. U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa will share space with the Central District of Illinois at the Rock Island Federal Building during court construction.
