Iowa City district set to approve building use policy

The Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra closed its Showcase Chamber Series with standout performances by principal cellist Carey Bostian and oboist David Hempel. The program featured Hindemith and Poulenc works, Copland duets, and Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major, with a guest cellist and a standing ovation for the Cedar Rapids String Quartet. An encore from Baccarini pleased the audience, and a KSUI-FM broadcast airs June 21 at 7 p.m.
