Taxidermist reports record year at Safari Land
Dan Beck of Safari Land Taxidermy says 1990s demand surged with 76 deer heads this year up from 30 to 35 in 1985. He notes two racks unusually large, including a Holy Cross Dubuque County buck aged around four but with a massive rack, second in state for size. Beck stagecraft details the mounting process and mentions clients from Colorado Washington and Texas.
