Task Force cuts to eight ships off Korea
Washington AP reports the duty task force defending US reconnaissance planes off Korea reduced from 29 vessels to eight. Enterprise and seven destroyer-type ships now redeployed from the Sea of Japan to a Yellow Sea East China Sea area. Pentagon spokesman Daniel Henkin said the remaining eight are conducting missions and that other ships have returned to port in Japan and the Philippines.
