Eye doctor earns humanitarian award for free clinic work

Cedar Rapids ophthalmologist Dr. David Muller and his wife founded an in house eye clinic at Community Free Health Clinic in 2008. Since then, the clinic has served over 3,700 local patients and Muller received the Iowa Medical Society fifth Physician Humanitarian Award with a $10,000 donation to the clinic to support prescription drugs and dental care.
