Iowa City police probe groin gunshot as driver located
Iowa City police investigated a Tuesday gunshot to the groin after a man said a heavyset 5-foot-4 assailant in a black mask fired as he tried to push away a handgun. A passer-by transported the wounded man to Mercy Medical Center. Police located the driver who took him to the hospital.
