St Luke's Hospital unveils $39.5 million modernization plan

Cedar Rapids plans a major modernization at St Luke's Hospital including a 17 940 square foot rehab center expansion and new entrances for car and ambulance traffic. The Hall Perrine Foundation gifts 3 million to fund the project while a long term acute care proposal on the sixth floor is under licensing review. Construction aims to finish by December 2008 with 46 000 plus square feet added and 74 000 upgraded.
